On one, two or three congas, in duo, trio or solo, Afro-Brazilian rhythms like Umbanda, Candomblé de Angola, or different Samba-styles will be taught.
Besides the grooves and solo playing, technique and sound quality will be in the foreground. ( slaps, open tones, muffles, floating hand and independence ).

The main instruments are atabaques and congas, which are played with the hands or with sticks, depending on the tradition.
