www.stadt-koeln.deTurn right at the chapel and take the road downhill to the Gasthaus Lendwirt From here, cycle out of the valley to Hopfgarten, where a relatively flat path takes you on to the village of Kelchsau.
Just after you leave the centre of Kelchsau you will come to a toll point for cars, and from there the left hand path leads into the Kurzen Grund.
A moderate climb of a few kilometres takes you up to the Gasthaus Wegscheid.
www.kitzalps.comVon hier aus fahren wir talauswärts nach Hopfgarten, von wo es dann immer nur flach oder leicht bergauf zur Ortschaft Kelchsau weitergeht.
Bald nach dem Ortsgebiet von Kelchsau erreichen wir eine Mautstelle für PKW, nach der es gleich links in den Kurzen Grund geht.
Ebenfalls nur mäßig bergauf erreichen wir nach ein paar Kilometern das Gasthaus Wegscheid.
