Als Ilija Djuric im Mai 1983 sein Fischlokal in der Piaristengasse 36 – in unmittelbarer Nachbarschaft des Josefstädter Theaters und in der Nähe von Rathaus, Parlament und Volkstheater – eröffnete, erfüllte sich der gelernte Koch einen Traum.

A culinary family tradition in the heart of Vienna
When in May of 1983 Ilija Djuric opened his fish restaurant on Piaristengasse 36 – very close to the Theater in der Josefstadt and Vienna’s city hall, parliament and the Volkstheater – a dream of the trained chef came true.
www.wieninternational.atDer Mitbegründer von Pickens Selfstorage und Ururenkel von Samuel Pickens – Dipl.Kaufmann Wolfgang J. Köhnk – hat bereits im Jahre 2000 in Hamburg-Stellingen ein erstes Selfstorage Lagerhaus errichtet.
Er griff damit eine Familientradition auf:
Samuel Pickens hatte in San Francisco während des Goldrausches ( 1848 – 1854 ) die ersten Lagerhäuser für Jedermann eröffnet.

Thus he picked up a family tradition:
Samuel Pickens rented out storage space in San Francisco during the gold rush from 1848 to 1854.
