Vom Lehrerseminar zur Universität
Die Universität Oldenburg wurde 1973 im Rahmen der Reform und Ausweitung des Hochschulsystems in der Bundesrepublik gegründet.
Seit 1991 trägt sie den Namen Carl von Ossietzky Universität.
