Am 12. November 2012 hielt Prof. Richard Trappl, Leiter des Konfuzius Institutes an der Universität Wien einen Vortrag zur chinesischen Landeskunde und Kulturgeschichte.
Dieser ist als Einführung für Lernende der chinesischen Sprache konzipiert, seien es Schüler des Konfuzius Institutes, Studierende am Institut für Sinologie, oder sonstige Chinainteressierte. Der Vortrag bietet eine Einführung in die Geschichte und Kultur Chinas vom Altertum bis in die Gegenwart.
Beginnend mit dem Jahr 221 v. Chr., als das chinesische Reich erstmals unter dem ersten Kaiser der Qin Dynastie Qin Shihuang geeint wurde, bis zur 4. Mai Bewegung des frühen zwanzigsten Jahrhunderts, bis hin zur modernen Volksrepublik China, skizzierte Prof. Trappl die chinesische Geschichte.

This lecture is conceived as an introduction to China for learners of the Chinese language, be it students of the Confucius Institute, the University’s Sinology department, or just those generally interested in Chinese culture.
Starting with the year 221 BC, when China was first united under emperor Qin Shihuang, to the 4th May Movement of the early 20th century, up to contemporary China, the lecture offers a comprehensive introduction to China’s history and culture.
