Eines ihrer Forschungsthemen ist die Darstellung und Animation komplexer dreidimensionaler Objekte, was nicht nur für die Unterhaltungsindustrie wichtig ist, sondern auch Anwendungen in der Medizinaltechnik findet: In Zusammenarbeit mit einem grossen Hörgerätehersteller ergeben sich so neue Wege bei der Modellierung massgefertigter Produkte.

One of her areas of research concerns the representation and animation of complex three-dimensional objects, something which is proving not only to be important for the entertainment industry but also to have applications in medical engineering: she is working with a major hearing aid manufacturer to discover new ways of modelling tailor-made products.
