Für die Gründung eines AU-Beirates für lokale Selbstverwaltung (High Council of Local Authorities) als Interessenvertretung von Städten und Gemeinden existiert eine Beschlussvorlage.
Sie wird dem AU-Gipfel im Juni 2014 zur Abstimmung vorgelegt.
