Schulbuchpolitik und Entwicklung von Lehrbüchern für den neuen Lehrplan.
Bislang war die halbautonome Schulbuchbehörde (Textbook Board Punjab) verantwortlich für die Entwicklung aller in staatlichen Schulen verwendeten Lehr- und Lernmaterialen.
Gemäß der neuen Schulbuchpolitik werden diese Materialien jedoch künftig von privaten Verlegern entwickelt und produziert, während die Schulbuchbehörde Steuerungs- und Qualitätssicherungsaufgaben übernimmt.

To date, the semi-autonomous Punjab Textbook Board has been responsible for developing all the teaching and learning materials used in state schools.
However, in line with the new textbook policy the development and production of these materials will now be undertaken by private publishers, while the Textbook Board will oversee quality assurance, regulation and monitoring.
