Nur an einer einzigen Stelle in der späten „Metaphysik der Sitten“ erörtert Kant explizit die Möglichkeit der Kollision von sogenannten Pflichtgründen, die für sich nicht zureichen, eine Pflicht simpliciter zu rechtfertigen.
