Im Januar 2013 werde ein großes Turnier in Wijk aan Zee sein, wo er in diesem Jahr zum wichtigsten Wettbewerb qualifiziert hat.Dieser Wettbewerb gehört zu den wichtigsten Schachwettbewerb im Schachskalender.
Er möchte für diesen Wettbewerb gut vorbereiten sein und hat einen Gegenspieler gesucht.
