While the marathon elite fought for best times, the relay runners focused on team spirit and on enjoying this athletic challenge together.
A relay team is composed of four runners each who divide the marathon distance among themselves and cover legs ranging between 9.3 and 11.3 kilometres.
With around 130 teams, the title sponsor METRO GROUP again presented the largest number of relay teams.
