Anfang Dezember zieht St. Nikolaus (Samichlaus) begleitet von «Iffelen» und Trychlern in Hünenberg ein und wird feierlich in der Kirche Heilig Geist begrüsst.
Anschliessend findet der Chlausumzug mit Trychler, Geisslechlöpfer und «Iffelen» statt.

In early December (on 4th December in 2014), St. Nicholas will process through Hünenberg village accompanied by “Iffelen” (mitre-shaped decorated lanterns) and “Trychlern” (bell ringers), and will be ceremonially welcomed in the Holy Ghost church.
This will be followed by the Chlausumzug (St. Nicholas procession through the village) with Trychler, Geisslechlöpfer (men cracking whips) and “Iffelen”.
