Creating Worlds ist ein mehrjähriges Forschungsprojekt des eipcp, das die Beziehung von Kunst- und Wissensproduktion im Kontext der Transformationen und Krisen des gegenwärtigen Kapitalismus erforscht.
Kreativität wird hier zum ambivalenten Begriff, „creating worlds“ bedeutet ein modulierendes Verfahren in kognitivem Kapitalismus und Kontrollgesellschaften, zugleich aber auch das Entstehen einer politischen Dimension der Kreativität als politisches Vorstellungsvermögen und als Erfindung neuer Fluchtlinien, neuer Kämpfe, neuer Welten.
Creating Worlds wird zwischen 2009 und 2012 realisiert, umfasst Forschung, Publikationen und Kunstprojekte und ist um drei thematische Plateaus angelegt:
