Paul Schlack
Paul Schlack ( 1897 - 1987 ) Erfinder des Perlons ( 1938 ) . Paul Schlack studierte von 1915 - 1922 an der Technischen Hochschule Stuttgart Chemie und war danach bis 1924 Assistent am Chemischen Institut .
Von 1961 bis 1967 war es als Honorarprofessor an der TH/ Universität Stuttgart tätig.

Bei seinen Experimenten entdeckte Schlack 1938 die Polymerisierbarkeit des Caprolactams und entwickelte daraus eine Polyamidfaser, das sogenannte Perlon.
